Queensland: Home Of The Rainforests

By Jerry Duncan

Some of the most beautiful natural rain forests are located around the coast of Queensland, Australia. This is truly the best place to learn, observe and explore the natural wonders of the continent. These rain forests are known as a paradise and a natural museum of nature to natives and visitors alike. It is the best place to visit for a romantic get away, vacation of relaxation or a journey in nature.

A region filled with tropical vegetation as well as some of the cutest and cuddliest creatures, koala bears, kangaroos and even tropical birds all can be observed living safely in their natural habitat, a rain forest that is estimated to be over one hundred million years old. And the whole habitat is arranged so that human beings offer a minimal disruption to the environment as they travel via board walks through the rain forest.

There are guided tours available in both day time hours, as well as the night time hours, giving you a chance to see all the animals, including the nocturnal ones. You can also arrange a walking tour or safari drive through the wilderness, or a river cruise that gives you a look at the crocodiles, while they take in the sun.

This region also includes picnic areas, beaches and natural surroundings that remain untouched. There are deluxe accommodations throughout the rainforest, where you can find yourself some relaxation and peaceful rest.

Some of the accommodations include cabins, beachfront homes, bungalows, secluded resort and five star hotels. There is an accommodation suitable for all budgets and interests. This is a perfect resort area as there has been a lot of work creating a place that people will enjoy visiting and exploring all that the tropical rainforest has to offer.
